Tourist attraction: The upside down house took a painstaking eight months to build and furnish in Terfens, Austria

At first glance, this house looks like it's been uprooted by a mighty tornado and planted on its roof.
Amazingly it was built this way, as an Austrian tourist attraction, by architects Irek Glowacki and Marek Rozhanski.

As well as its impressive exterior the house is fully furnished with decor, belongings and even a car - all painstakingly installed upside down.

Back in Kansas: After marvelling at its bizarre exterior, guests enter through an 'upstairs' window

The architects were enlisted with the task of creating a new tourist attraction for the town of Terfens, situated 15 miles west of Innsbruck.
The Polish pair spent eight months completing the detailed model - and it's easy to see how it took them so long.

Guests are invited to stroll past a porch that's suspended in the air and enter the house through an 'upstairs' window.


Tidy up time: Inside everything is authentic, including children's bedrooms with toys scattered on the ceiling

From a distance you can even see the foundations and remains of a basement, perched where the roof should be.Once inside, visitors stare up in wonder at a bathroom with fittings all hanging from the ceiling and marvel at a gravity-defying garage that features a real vintage upside down VW Beetle.
Children's bedrooms are even authentically messy with toys stuck to the ceiling.

Dizzying: The bathroom is fully fitted and furnished with toilet, bidet and bathtub

An elegant kitchen/diner includes a working oven and fridge.
And the living room appears to feature a TV and functioning fireplace - even though the chimneys point into the ground.

The upside down house opened its doors to guests this month, and has become an instant hit - attracting visitors from across the region.

Bare-breasted Women Parade Through New York for Seventh Annual Go Topless Day...

Sunday was the seventh annual International Go Topless Day and women around the world marched topless in support of women's rights. The movement: states as its mission 'As long as men are allowed to be topless in public, women should have the same constitutional right. Or else, men should have to wear something to hide their chests.' In one of 60 events planned around the world women gathered in Manhattan with placards and banners - and without their tops.
