Viewers have a diverse and wide-ranging lineup to choose from this year, including political dramas, family comedies, and even a spinoff to a long-beloved cop show. Here are 14 new series premieres to catch this month. 1.  Houdini  (History Channel) This two-part, four-hour miniseries on the History Channel stars Adrien Brody as legendary illusionist and escape artist Harry Houdini. The series will follow the now-renowned magician on his lengthy journey from poverty to international fame, illustrating his growing abilities to master the art of illusion and take on even the most dangerous, death-defying stunts along the way. The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has set out to destroy two million copies of pornographic and unwholesome movies valued at N10 million. This is contained in a statement signed by the Acting Head, Corporate Affairs of the board, Mr Caesar Kagho, in Abuja… The unwholesome movies were sized within FCT and its environs between January and June 2014. …60 per cent of which are of pornographic content while 40 per cent are uncensored, unwholesome and pirated. …the seizures were carried out in Gwagwalada, Karu, Kubwa, Wuse market and Airport road in the FCT. It said further that NFVCB was currently working with the Federal Ministry of Environment to secure a dump site to burn the seized films. Quite funny. But before you freak out, this is good news: "Fast & Furious 7" is coming out even faster. Instead of arriving on April 10, 2015, the seventh installment of the "Fast" franchise will now bow on April 3,  Variety reports . The speculation is that Universal moved the release date up a week to allow more time for an international run. "Fast 7" was initially supposed to open during 2014's summer season, but that changed after the death of franchise star Paul Walker last fall. The theory is that Universal's planning to "retire" Walker's character , Brian O'Conner -  not  kill him off.

The Australian actress has been cast to play the ice queen on ABC's fairy tale drama. The ‘Frozen’ character Elsa will be played by Georgina Haig on ‘Once Upon a Time.’ Time to let it go: an actress has been cast to play Elsa on "Once Upon a Time." The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host implied during a TMZ interview Wednesday that he landed the role of the iconic comedian. A movie biopic about Richard Pryor (left) is in the works, and Nick Cannon implied that he has been cast in the role.
