A Ghanaian woman has been arrested by security operatives at the Heathrow Airport in London, carrying what is believed to be one of the largest consignments of cocaine ever impounded at Heathrow. She was alleged to be carrying a Ghanaian diplomatic passport at the time of her arrest. Officials have given her name as Ruby Adu Gyamfi, who was reportedly carrying cocaine weighing 12.5kg, estimated at about 3.5 million pounds or $5 million. Four female prison guards fell pregnant to one inmate in a prison in Baltimore – a gang leader so powerful he said that in the jail, ‘I am the law.’ Tavo White showered the female guards with gifts including cars and diamond rings. White reportedly made $16,000 (£10,000) a month from smuggling drugs and cellphones into prison with help from his accomplices. An FBI wire tap captured White saying, ‘This is my jail. You understand that,’ and claiming to control everything from contraband to mob hits within the prison. Millions of immigrants living illegally in the US will be allowed to apply for  work permits under a major shake-up unveiled by President Barack Obama. They include immigrants living in the US for five years who have children staying legally in the US. Up to five million are expected to benefit from a reform package forced through using executive orders, which allow Mr Obama to bypass Congress. Republicans have accused the president of an "illegal power-grab". There are estimated to be 11 million  illegal immigrants  in the US. Under Mr Obama's plan, undocumented parents of children who are US citizens or  legal  residents will be able to apply for work permits lasting three years. Only parents who have lived in the US for five years will qualify - an estimated four million people. Hundreds of thousands more will benefit from other changes, including a decision to broaden a scheme giving temporary legal status to those who arrived in the US as children.

A little boy who was born with eight limbs has been hailed as an Indian God – sparking crowds of people rallying to see him. A new British medical  study  out today has backed up previous findings that cannabis cures  cancer . This survivor has taken to YouTube to tell her amazing story of how the super-plant saved her life after she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and given between six to nine months to live. The doctors told her there was nothing they could do to save her life, and although  chemotherapy  was an  option  to give her an extra few months, they said it could never shrink her tumors.
