First Photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Wedding Emerge
An exclusive photo covers the new issue of People magazine.
People magazine landed the
much-coveted U.S.
exclusive on photos from Brangelina's surprise weddinglast month, and of
course Angelina's bridal gown gets the cover shot. It's a custom-made ivory
silk Atelier Versace gown, with pleated detailing through the bustline and a
full skirt. The abstract pops of color visible on both the train and veil are
recreations of Brangelina's childrens' artwork, dozens of sketches and doodles
in total embroidered by the fashion house's master tailor Luigi Massi, whom
Angelina describes as "like family." Hello! magazine,
which has the international exclusive on the wedding photos, runs a cover with
a much better view of all the drawings:
They're all adorable, sure, but maybe they'd better adorning a fridge
than, IDK, bridalwear... am I too old-fashioned?! Let's not dwell on divisive
topics, though, and focus instead on Brangelina kissing
"It was such a special day to share with our children and a very
happy time for our family," Brad and Angelina told People,
further emphasizing the important parts their kids' played throughout the
proceedings. As noted in
previous reports, Zahara and Vivienne served as flower girls, Shiloh and
Knox as ring bearers, while Maddox and Pax walked their mom down the
aisle; People's report adds that they all helped write their
parents' vows, and Pax baked a cake.
On newsstands Wednesday, this week's People promises to
include a "complete" photo album as well as many more lovely details
from the big day.
