Corie Nieves…Smart 10-year-old Kid & CEO,Business Entrepreneur …Rolls like a Boss. [PHOTOS]
As well as dressing like a dude in his favourite
linen pants, blazers and printed ties, with a Windsor knot, natch, Cory likes
to use some of the profits from his successful business to give back to those
less fortunate – he plans to create a program to help young entrepreneurs from
low income families.
He’s already winning at life – and he’s TEN. FML.
Cory started his company Mr Cory’s Cookies in 2009
to help his mum buy a new car after the family moved from New York City to New
Jersey. It all began with hot chocolate, which he sold from a food stand
outside his house.
He’s since expanded into the lucrative cookie market
and boasts an all-natural flavour line-up including his ‘perfect’ chocolate
chip recipe. He’s hoping to be able to sell them online through his company website shortly.
But, Cory knows it’s not just about the product;
it’s about the whole package. He has 3000 followers on his Instagram page,
many of whom go there to check out his ‘boss’ threads. His favourite looks are
suits, linen pants/shirts, square-frame glasses, sports coats and hipster
cardis.
Cory’s ambitions now stretch way beyond some new
wheels and sartorial recognition though. ‘I’m going to do it [to raise money]
for college and [for learning how to] run a business,’ he toldNorthJersey.com.
In his spare time, he lectures on how to start your
own successful business...did i hear u say lectures?...yes he does.... and is also a part-time actor and occasional model for
brands such as Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. Anyone else mourning their
misspent childhood yet?
But
what sets the curly-haired entrepreneur apart from the competition is his
GQ-approved sense of style. Most people thinks his mum styles him but no, he
styles himself. When asked by strangers if she dresses her son, Cory’s mom
usually replies, “Do you see what I have on? I need my son to dress me.”
