Full Story of How Yinka Ayefele's Father Died While Celebrating His Birthday.

We broke the news first of the demise of Pa J.T Ayefele, the father of popular gospel artiste, Yinka Ayefele.  Pa Joshua Taiwo Ayefele, died on Sunday,  October 12, during the celebration of his 76thbirthday held in Ipoti Ekiti.

Speaking with Olaolu Ayefele(L.A Flexy) Who described their father's death as shocking, saddening and unexpected, said, Pa Joshua Ayefele, popularly known as Baba Teacher was hale and hearty, expressed his desire to celebrate his 76th birthday which they considered quite unusual as he always refuse to celebrate his birthday in the past. 

Yinka Ayefele, the first child of the late septuagenarian was with his late father in Ipoti Ekiti, for his birthday celebration at the Anglican church, Ipoti Ekiti. After the the end of events at the church that sunday, the septuagenarian followed the son Yinka Ayefele, to his car and bid him farewell, only to be called via his mobile phone before he got back to Ibadan that his father had given up the ghost just minutes after he left him and other well wishers celebrating his birthday.

Pa Ayefele was an educationist and community leader in Ipoti Ekiti until his demise. Burial arrangement will be announced soon.

The late  Ayefele, was believed to have had premonition of his death and that was why he asked his children for a celebration party for his 76th birthday, a request that shocked the family, who knew him as a man who didn’t like public gatherings.

His family had obliged and organised a birthday thanksgiving which they all attended at the Anglican Church, Ipoti Ekiti, only for him to have died few hours into the celebration.
