5 Things to Watch in todays World Cup Matches....

It's that time in the World Cup where everyone breaks out the crystal ball and the statistics manual, trying to determine how every game will affect their team's chances to advance to the next round. It's enough to make your head hurt.
Whether you're a die-hard fan or just enjoying the spectacular play in Brazil, there's lots to watch during Friday's World Cup matches:
1. Costa Rica: lucky break or the little engine that could?
Costa Rica takes on Italy after a shocking 3-1 win over Uruguay.Clearly the underdog, we'll see if they can hold their own against Italy, which whomped England 2-1.
The two teams have apparently only played once before.
2. All eyes on Italy's mohawked striker
If you watched Italy's defeat of England this week, you saw the amazing header into the net by Italy's Mario Balotelli.
Now as Italy sets its sights on the World Cup finals, the team's fans will be looking to Balotelli, who could be the key to his team's success.
Balotelli knows that Italy's win over Costa Rica would mean England stays in the World Cup, so he only has one request:
3. Neighbor vs. neighbor: France takes on Switzerland
France is looking good after its 3-0 win over Honduras. Friday mid-afternoon, they'll take on Switzerland, which could be more of a match. Most are putting their money on France to win.

The loser in the Ecuador-Honduras match will be going home. So that has some characterizing this battle as a fight to the death.
5. Who knew? Rihanna a World Cup fan
World Cup fever has infected Rihanna: the singer's 35+ million Twitter followers may have wondered who Rooney and Suarez were on Thursday.
It wasn't the first time Rihanna has taken to Twitter to urge favorite soccer players on. Who knows? Maybe we'll see her predicting the winners and losers on ESPN.

Sunday was the seventh annual International Go Topless Day and women around the world marched topless in support of women's rights. The movement: states as its mission 'As long as men are allowed to be topless in public, women should have the same constitutional right. Or else, men should have to wear something to hide their chests.' In one of 60 events planned around the world women gathered in Manhattan with placards and banners - and without their tops.
