Sunday was the seventh annual International Go Topless Day and women around the world marched topless in support of women's rights. The movement: states as its mission 'As long as men are allowed to be topless in public, women should have the same constitutional right. Or else, men should have to wear something to hide their chests.' In one of 60 events planned around the world women gathered in Manhattan with placards and banners - and without their tops. The red colored ones are the ones where the mere showing of the female breast in public is illegal according to state law. The new ultramodern Tejuosho Market, a Public Private Partnership initiative between the Lagos State Government and Stormberg Engineering Limited, with First Bank of Nigeria providing Financing. The market is equipped with modern lock up shops, multi-level parking, world class safety facilities and competent facility managers. This project has been in the pipe-line for over ten years but it took a 'mysterious' fire outbreak at the old Tejuosho Market in 2007 before aggressive construction could commence. Five years down the line and the project is really beginning to take shape. The New Tejuosho Shopping Complex is fully financed by First Bank of Nigeria Plc and is being undertaken by Stormberg Engineering Limited under the Public-Private-Partnership programme of the Lagos State Government for 25 years.
