The  Lagos  State Police Command has said only a court of law could decide whether the two dogs (pictured above)which ate the skull of a four-year-old boy in Igando area of Lagos State, Omonigho Abraham, be killed or not. The command, which paraded the two dogs at its headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos State on Tuesday, added that the dogs had been examined and been found to be disease-free. The Commissioner of Police, Cornelius Aderanti, said it was important to parade the dogs so that the public would rest assured that the dogs were still in police custody, and had not been released as being rumoured. He said, “We have brought the dogs out so that the public would know that they are still in police custody. They have been examined and show no negative trait. It is only the court that will decide what happens to them. Tragedy strikes a public school in Seattle A 15-year old student,  Jaylen Fryberg , opened fire in the cafeteria of his high school yesterday, injuring several people and killing two. One of the deceased is Fryberg, who was killed by a self-inflicted  gunshot  wound. Early this afternoon,  Komo 4 News  reported that there were several shots fired in the cafeteria of Pilchuck High School, and that students and teachers were locked in the classroom as incoming authorities rapidly attempted to get the situation under control. Shortly  after,  CBS News  reported the arrival of three  injured people , one of whom was  suffering  from h ead trauma. At the time Fryberg opened fire, allegedly 50 to 60 people were in the cafeteria.   A Doctors Without Borders physician has tested positive for Ebola virus after returning to New York from West Africa, becoming the first recorded case in the Big Apple. The doctor, Craig Spencer, was transported to Bellevue Hospital Center and put in isolation ward at the same time as investigators sought to review every step he had taken over the past several days.  The 33-year-old doctor returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea on October 17, 2014, and developed fever, nausea, pains and fatigue on October 23, 2014, Thursday. He was taken to the isolation ward of New York’s Bellevue Hospital Center.  Nigeria has been declared officially free of Ebola after six weeks (42-days) with no new cases by the World Health Organization (WHO).

  The pilot had been very patient but, after an hour of the plane waiting on the Tarmac at Heathrow, with my son Stephen refusing to get up off the floor, sit in his seat and buckle up, our bags were removed from the hold and he was carried off the  flight , my husband Roy and I walking, hot-cheeked and humiliated, behind. Our  family holiday  to Greece would not be going ahead, after all. And no, Stephen was not an obstreperous toddler when this happened. He was 45 years old.
